The Daily UX Writing Challenge consists of 15 challenges (14 of them to be completed in 10 minutes or less) where we are asked to write messages within a scenario with a limited number of words for headlines, body, and buttons to work with.
I will update here as I get along.
Scenario: A traveler is in an airport waiting for the last leg of a flight home when their flight gets abruptly canceled due to bad weather.
Challenge: Write a message from the airline app notifying them of the cancellation and what they need to do next.
Headline: 45 characters Body: 175 characters max Button(s): 25 characters max
The problem here is how to communicate with empathy, and give the traveler a solution, even if temporary, while they wait for the company to solve the problem for good.

Scenario: A user is a working parent, and a big sports fan, in the midst of their favorite sports season who can no longer attend games.
Challenge: Write a promotional screen for an app that lets a user choose teams, sends game reminders, real-time score updates and highlight videos.
Headline: 40 characters Body: 175 characters max Button(s): 25 characters max
Problem: For this one, our body copy must emphasize the benefits the user: what the app does, why it's different, why the user needs it, and what the user must do to get it using the "call to action" — meaning, we have to get their attention by adding some value.
